    Mt. Magdiwata Eco-farm is a tourist attraction  located in the Municipality of  San Francisco Province of Agusan del Sur. 
Mt. Magdiwata is revered by the Manobo Tribes because of the folklore that the soul of Giant Magdiwata may punish people who destroy the mountain's natural resources. The mountain is distinguished by significant ranges, and the Manobos' pride is reflected in the towering heights of around 592 meters above sea level.

Wondering why it is called Mt. Magdiwata? 

    It is called Mt. Magdiwata or in English a "Fairy" because the mountain looks like Diwata when you look it from afar. Mt. Magdiwata resembles a pregnant lady as it approaches sunset, and a crocodile anxious to seize a meal as it approaches midnight.
   


What is interesting things in there? 
    
   If you are a nature lover, adventurer and mountain enthusiast you will going to love Mt. Magdiwata, because of its lush-full virgin forest with a fresh flowing waterfalls that you will surely enjoy. Only here can you find stunning and endemic flora and animals, natural swimming holes and cool springs, and the world's largest Bagrass tree. 
    Mt. Magdiwata also had a pool for the tourists who didn't want to swim in the waterfall and cool springs, cottages for the tourists who wants to relax that faced to the beautiful view of nature, a tent for the tourists who wants to spend the night  in the mountain and wait for the sunrise in the morning.


Did you forget to bring Food? 

    Don't be worried Mt. Magdiwata had its own cafe that serves a delicious foods for breakfast like beef tapa, hotdog tocino, etc., for the lunch and dinner they serves foods like sisig pork skillet, sisig tuna, tinolang manok, etc., and appetizers they had nachos, chicharon, french fries, etc., they also had burgers, cold beverages, wines, cocktails, shakes and fruit juices like mango shake watermelon and hot beverages like brewed coffee, espresso, sikwate and etc.

Can I afford this kind of place? 

    Mt. Magdiwata had entrance fee for only sixty (60) pesos per person, and the food and beverages had the started price of twenty (20) to two hundred fifty (200) pesos only.

    Don't you worry Mt. Magdiwata had their own staff with proper safety precautions who's looking around to secure the safety of the tourists. 

How to get there?

    If you're from Davao City take a bus going to Butuan City and if you're  from Butuan City take any bus going to Davao City, Mangagoy, and Tandag City and also instruct Conductor to drop you at the bus terminal of San Francisco Agusan del Sur. After you arrived at the bus terminal take a tricycle and instruct the driver to drop you to the terminal of Habal-Habal, a single motorcycle going to Mt. Magdiwata.
