HAVE BREAKAWAY AND BE ADVENTUROUS AT BEGA FALLS

EXPLORE "BEGA" FALLS

Bega Falls is in Barangay Mabuhay in Prosperidad, the provincial capital of Agusan del Sur, Philippines. According to legend, a lovely diwata (fairy) seduces men and leads them to the falls. Those who had been seduced by the diwata were never seen again.

Do you wonder why is it called Bega?

The falls are named from the Visayan word biga, which translates to "to flirt" in English. Whether or whether the mythology is genuine, everyone who sees these falls will be enchanted by their splendor.

What's the thing you will found there?

Bega Falls is divided into four tiers or levels. Bega Falls Tier-4 is located further downstream and can only be reached via a more difficult trail. Tier-4 was bypassed during our visit to save time. Bega Falls Tier 3 has a tiny pool of water and a mini waterfall. It's a fantastic spot for a quick break from hiking. Bega Falls is divided into four tiers or levels.
